Ezsettle
Financial settlement platform streamlining payment processing and reconciliation for businesses.
Automated payment reconciliation, cutting a multi-day finance process down to minutes with a fully trustworthy audit trail.
Business Challenge
EZSettle's team was reconciling financial settlement records the manual way — reviewing XML financial/settlement documents by eye, comparing two documents line by line, and trying to spot where they didn't match. That's slow, repetitive work, and the more manual a comparison process is, the easier it is for a real discrepancy to slip past a tired reviewer. The client wanted to turn that manual document review into a digital workflow instead of a spreadsheet-and-eyeballs process.
Project Objective
BAMS was tasked with building a platform where users could upload two financial/settlement documents, have the platform compare them digitally, automatically surface the differences between them, and highlight discrepancies clearly enough that a human reviewer could focus on judgment calls instead of manual line-by-line comparison.
What BAMS Built
BAMS built EZSettle as a financial settlement and reconciliation platform centered on automated document comparison. Users upload the two documents being reconciled, the platform compares them digitally, and differences are detected and visually highlighted so a reviewer can see exactly where the records diverge rather than re-reading both documents end to end. The platform turns what used to be a manual comparison exercise into a structured digital reconciliation workflow, with a full audit trail behind every comparison.
BAMS's Role
BAMS was responsible for the end-to-end reconciliation platform — the document upload flow, the comparison engine, difference detection and highlighting, and the reconciliation workflow that ties them together.
Implementation Approach
The workflow follows: Document A + Document B → Digital Comparison → Difference Detection → Highlighted Discrepancies → Human Review. BAMS deliberately didn't try to remove the human from the process — the platform automates the repetitive, error-prone part of reconciliation (finding where two documents differ) so the reviewer's time goes to judgment calls on the discrepancies that actually matter, not manual line-by-line comparison.
Business Impact
EZSettle moved the client's reconciliation process from manual document review to automated digital comparison with human verification — a more structured workflow that surfaces discrepancies directly instead of relying on a reviewer to catch them by eye.
